Colors of St Lucia - 2000
Done with "strips 'n curves" technique. My husband and I sailed on a 60 foot, two masted schooner for 10 days in St. Lucia and Martinique in 1996. This quilt is reminiscent of that trip. The palm trees, coral, orchids, sailboats and fish are all 3-dimensional. Beading and other surface embellishments bring this quilt to life. Machine free-motion quilting |
