FESTIVAL in RIO
A challenge quilt done in 1994 to see how many different fabrics could be used in a mini-quilt. The pattern is known as "Wheel of Fortune". Beads were used in place of quilting except for machine quilting in the border. 16x19. |

ARIZONA OUTBACK
This quilt has a "twin" made as a wedding gift in 2001. I liked it so much I did a second for our home. The differences are subtle. Each square is done separately and then attached with hand-sewn strips. Finished in February 2002. 36x48. |

BEARS in the WOODS
A flannel Bear Paw "snuggler" made for Father Phil Higgins, a life-long friend of Roger's. Finished in May 2003 and delivered to Virginia end of June, 2003. 62x76. |

FISH TALES
A vest and harem pants done using Jennifer Sampou's Red Sea collection. The vest is a "Gypsy" vest pattern done with multiple fabrics, lots of surface embellishment and all-over thread stitching. Only worn at quilt gatherings!!! Completed in 1998. |
