AUTUMN COURTYARD

Fall colors worked in the Courthouse Steps pattern. Prairie points sewn in with the first border add eye appeal. Machine free-motion quilting with different leaf shapes.

Completed Sring of 2002. 36x46.

SNIPS and SNAILS and PUPPY DOG TAILS

Using a great collection called "Kids Under Cover" and adding some of my own stash, this was a fun and easy quilt to make. Nancy Walker of Sun Lakes professionally "long-arm" quilted this piece.

Completed Summer of 2002. 72x90.

FIRST LIGHT on the NORTH ATLANTIC

I started this quilt a LONG time ago at a weekend quilt retreat in Killington, VT in 1994. I used a myriad of blue scraps adding a bit of teal and turquoise and pinks to highlight the center star. I finished the top in 1996, but didn't get it quilted until 2002! Nancy Walker of Sun Lakes did a beautiful, professional job with her long-arm quilter; I knew I'd never finish it otherwise! It was a fun quilt to work on and I love it now that it is finished!

Completed Sring of 2002. 56x70.

STARBUCKS

A Stack and Whack quilt started in a class given by the originator, Bethany Reynolds, in 1999. The focus fabric is all coffee, and espresso motifs. The only other fabrics used are the pale background and the red and turquoise inner borders. A REALLY fun project! Machine free-motion quilting.

Completed October 2002. 41x51.

SANTA on the MOON

Another piece from the Olde World Santa Collection. This wall hanging was done in 2001 with satin stitch machine applique. Free motion quilting.

Completed November 2002. 24x28.
