This quilt was designed and made by Densleigh A. Sullivan of Sun Lakes, AZ. It
was entered into the Arizona State Guild Show in March of 2001 where it was
awarded a Second Prize ribbon. In late June the quilt was sent to Ft. Collins,
Colorado where it was exhibited at the Lincoln Gallery for the month of July. On
August 28th this quilt was insured and mailed from the main Post Office of
Loveland, Colorado back to Sun Lakes (Chandler) Arizona. As of September 15, this
quilt has not been received by the owner. The post offices in both Loveland,
Colorado and Chandler, Arizona have been alerted and are working to locate this
quilt. This quilt is 50" x 50", very tropical in its design and colors, is heavily
surface embellished and machine quilted. It had a large label on the lower left
backing with a story behind the design of the quilt. This quilt will also be
featured in a book soon to be released by C&T Publishers called "Strip 'n Curves"
by Louisa A. Smith of Loveland, CO. Thank-you for keeping an eye open for my
quilt. Detailed pictures of this quilt can be seen by clicking here.
